Terms of use
The rules for using NGO Directory Africa.
1. The service
NGO Directory Africa is a directory of organisations working in Africa. Information comes from organisations, public sources and our research. We work to keep it accurate but cannot guarantee it; check important details yourself before funding, partnering or travelling.
2. Accounts
Keep your login safe. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts used for spam, scraping, fraud or harassment.
3. Organisation profiles
When you list or claim an organisation you confirm you are authorised to do so and that the information is accurate. We may edit, hide or remove profiles that are misleading, unlawful or fraudulent, and remove a claim that turns out to be unauthorised.
4. Paid packages and passes
The fee to list or claim an organisation is paid once. Yearly subscriptions (Impact, Partner, Champion) run for 12 months from payment. Contact access passes run for the period shown at purchase. Prices are in US dollars and may be charged in local currency at the rate shown. Fees are not refundable once the package or pass is active, except where the law requires.
5. Donations
Donations to organisations are made to those organisations; we pass card donations through Paystack to the organisation’s account less the platform fee shown. Donations to NGO Directory Africa support the running of the directory.
6. Acceptable use
Do not copy the directory in bulk, use contact details for spam, or misrepresent yourself to organisations.
